Greetings. I have multiple accounts in Windows Live Mail Win-OS 8.1 Now I want to raise one account but I can not drag the folders epass in it, or transfer it to another account. epass Because there are so many folders epass and subfolders are many thousands, is to create each folder / subfolder not an option. After I make a backup of the complete Live Mail folder tried to delete an account but the folders epass and subfolders then disappeared which is not the intention. Who gives advice? Suginem
Very incomplete posting epass because not mentioned what kind of email account you want to delete and what e-mail account you want to keep. POP3, IMAP, HTTP, ... I would at least begin to create an archive and there in copying the desired mails / folders. Tijs.

Greetings, Thank you for your response to my question epass about how to drag folders / directories between different accounts in Live Mail. Firstly, I do not find the answer neatly, I'm just starting with a salute. Secondly, I do not find the answer precisely because the posting Not very incomplete as stated. The only thing missing is that it is a POP3 account is what does not seem relevant because the problem occurs in both IMAP and POP3. Thirdly, it seems to me that my question is not understood. I should With thousands of directories / folders every time first need to create a folder / subfolder where I copied can post mails from another account. I hope to avoid as I wrote in my question, because almost impracticable. I want to receive answers about the towing between accounts in Live Mail. In Outlook it's so easy so I hope something similar in Live Mail. With regards and thanks. Suginem

Day Tijs, Thanks for your reply but have clicked on the link I come to the conclusion that the link only help to an IMAP server setting where the folders are still on the server. In POP3 where the mails are already stored epass in folders on the computer this approach does not work because no archive can be created mi. So I can do to create a new folder in Storage folders but there not drag folders / subfolders to go from a particular account or copy and the archive function is missing. Maybe you can think of something else. Thanks and regards, Suginem
No difference should (unless I'm extremely mistaken) accounts work for both types. Not for nothing, as a general epass tip given in my first posting. epass Try it out, and do as I say, so make preliminary copies of folders, so do not move. Tijs.

Hello. I will try to help. It may be possible to leave everything to OneDrive go. Do you have an example to address and use linking epass iemand@outlook.com .... Export Import ...... ..... can not find it just now. Switching .... email is retained that what you want to do. Or am I rambling.
Suginem Hi, What you can do is install MS Office (version 2003, 2007 or 2010) in your or another computer. Using the Outlook Connector you sync the whole lot. In MS Office it is indeed very easy to drag the folders, regardless of the number epass of messages in a folder. I have this whole process is carried out at me and it works perfectly. In some folders were even around epass 800 emails. As a basic mail software I use on my computer MS Office 2010, but in fact I work in Outlook.com (formerly Windows Live). The reason I do this is that MS Office 2010 a perfect piece of software is many times faster than Outlook.com and has an excellent agenda. In 2010 I 7-mail accounts and 5 different agendas. By the proper organization from MS Office 2010 I can anywhere with my mail in Outlook.com. Everything is synchronized correctly. It's just a job, but then you have something. It's just an idea ...
