Mozilla is experimenting at the moment with a method where users can no longer log in using a password, but via email and eventually SMS. The idea comes from Mozilla Webmaker, the research department of the open source developer engaged quanlambao in initiatives to make the web more accessible to people. Furthermore it is also looks at passwords.
Users often choose weak passwords or forget. Webmaker has chosen a different solution where users via e-mail to log in. For its own platform, therefore, New users can register quanlambao on the platform by simply an email address and username to give up. Then you get instant access to the website. One need to confirm later the account registration only via mail.
If users want to login later they must identify themselves via their email address and username. Webmaker then send an e-mail with a link to login. "No passwords to remember, no passwords to steal," said Mozilla. To make this more user-friendly solution containing the e-mail two links. One to login on public computers and a link that keeps users on their own computer or device login.
"If well designed and documented, this solution is also useful quanlambao for other websites and takes the burden away from administrators to protect passwords," let Mozilla know. "This approach reduces the need to manage code for social login services and reduces the risk of stored passwords." Currently supports Webmaker only login via email, but in the future SMS will also be added. Users can also optionally choose to log in with a password.
Am I missing something? E-mail is in principle be as leaky as a sieve. Unless you are required to give their user accounts are protected approaching (and how do you check that?), You walk here so might as well risk.
Jaja so you safety to log in Mozilla moves to the veiigheid your mail? That seems no improvement, because mail is intercepted in various quanlambao ways and to see. (Even if it is supposedly protected sent)
