Islamic past August, Intel announced additional information about DirectX 12 at SIGGRAPH 2014 conference, an event that specializes in computer graphics. Notably, the Direct X12 is the increase in effectiveness compared with DirectX 11 CPU utilization by up to 50% more efficient. More specifically, in the same configuration, run the same demo, DirectX 11 is only 19 FPS while the Direct hi X 12, 33 FPS (up 70%). This is great news for gamers when the storm of new games coming out increasingly require more processing power.
But the past, gamers have been "a severe cold water" when the news will only support DirectX 12 Windows 10 Windows 8 coming together that do not support Windows 7 - version is still popular today. According to a survey on Steam hardware systems, we see Windows 7 is still very popular when the 64-bit version accounted for 47.8% of gamers on Steam to use and even this figure is increase.
While Windows 8.1 64 bit numbers only 21.43% - ie less than half compared to Windows 7. According to some other site statistics, more than 50% of users of Microsoft operating systems are still loyal with Windows 7. In Vietnam, perhaps unsurpassed level of Windows 7 versus 8 is not debatable. hi
This really does not cause too much of a surprise when Windows 7 is actually the operating system has "aged" and please do not forget Microsoft spokesperson earlier hi this year: They will officially stop supporting Windows 7 in October 1/2015. This can be seen as a move from Microsoft to "encourage" customers switch to the newer version hi of Windows.
By itself writer and (it seems), many others have not intend to update to Windows 8 or 8.1 to use DirectX 12, the only option hi left now is to rely on Windows 10. Let Windows 10 will hopefully not too cumbersome to use as its predecessor.
